Huts & Decks WA is a family-owned business founded by Dave Dennis, a carpenter with over 40 years of experience. After running a successful carpentry business with his wife Fiona, the family spent several years in North Queensland, where they expanded their expertise in tropical alfresco living.
Ten years ago, they returned to Western Australia to start Huts & Decks WA, helping homeowners create beautiful, relaxed outdoor spaces. The team includes Dave, Fiona, their sons Corey and Tristan, and Corey’s wife Zoe. Visit their Display Centre to discuss your project.
Tristan, our site supervisor, ensures smooth onsite operations, supported by our skilled carpentry team— Nick, Ned, Finn, Dean and Byron.
Huts & Decks WA supports local students with workplace training and chooses not to employ commission-based salespeople. You'll speak directly with the team that designs, builds, and installs your project.
With years of expertise, we look forward to delivering outstanding results for your outdoor space.
With nearly four decades of dedicated service in the construction industry, David's wealth of knowledge has been honed over years of hands-on experience.
Corey makes sure every project meets top standards and regulations. You’ll often catch him at the Display Centre, ready for a friendly chat about your next project!
Tristan has a sharp eye for detail and handles complex builds with finesse. With an unwavering dedication to his work, Tristan consistently delivers exceptional results.
Fiona Dennis (Dave’s wife) oversees our accounts and purchasing, bringing decades of administrative experience to the table. She ensures that all behind-the-scenes operations run smoothly, allowing the company to function like a well-oiled machine.
Zoe Dennis (Corey’s wife) is the driving force behind our building applications and drafting process, ensuring that every project is equipped with precise drawings and specifications. With her expertise, clients can visualise their dream project through 3D models before construction begins!
Alicia (Dave & Fiona's daughter) supports the team with admin tasks and helps lighten the load. You’ll occasionally see her friendly face around the centre, lending a hand in the garden and assisting with customer enquiries.
